I have a hybrid career - half musician/composer, half audio pro. There's a fascination with detail that every composer is blessed, or burdened with. I have that. As well as an equally unswerving attention to detail when it comes to audio and sound design. To me, they're very similar processes. Both involve crafting and carving something that wasn't there a few short moments ago. 

 

As a musician/composer, I've been fortunate to be involved in a wide array of writing projects, including scoring for large jazz ensembles, writing pop music for Arista Records, writing music soundtracks for TV and radio commercials, scoring documentaries, composing news music packages, and writing absolute music.

As an audio pro, I've designed and built several recording studios, engineered countless sessions for broadcast, corporate, film, and music projects in our family-owned Rhode Island based recording studio, which has been around since 1981.

 

So I'm one of the lucky ones. I get to play and write music, and make a living. And I do it, if I'm being honest, mostly for one reason - my number one passion, my family.
